Air Jordan 7 Retro

The Air Jordan 7 was released in 1992 and featured Nike’s new Huarache-technology, which allows the shoe to better conform to the user’s foot. Tinker Hatfield made a few suprising adjustements this time, hence the shoe featured no longer a transparent and yellowing sole.

Further the Air Jordan 7 was the first Air Jordan that did not feature any Nike branding on the outer portions of the shoe. Nike promoted the new model with an ad campaign in which Bugs Bunny appeared alongside MJ. Later that year, Nike released a special Olympic colorway of the Air Jordan 7, which accompanied Mike through the memorable 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
