Introduced around 2012 as an ultra-cushioned trail runner, the Hoka Stinson (originally Stinson Evo) pioneered maximum cushioning with an oversized midsole. Named after California's Stinson Beach, it evolved through various lite and tarmac hybrid iterations, culminating in the stable H-Frame Stinson 7 and lifestyle hybrids.
