Nike Internationalist

The Internationalist is a Nike Running model that debuted over 30 years ago. Its slim and simple silhouette provides an aesthetic vintage look just like the Air Vortex and the Nike Challenger. The long-distance running shoe provides a Permafoam insole and the legendary waffle sole.

The sneaker appeared in John Hughes’ hit „ The Breakfast Club“ and after three decades Nike finally reissues the Internationalist in 2014. The Internationalist was presented first in the early Nike Days – at the New York Marathon 1982. With a fantastic shape, a stabile heel clip and the typical Waffle-Sole is the solid shoe the perfect choice for people, who like simple Nike Designs. The length Swoosh on the side is the eye-catcher of the shoe. The running shoe had his biggest success when he was rocked from Brian Johnson (Anthony Michael Hall) in the cult movie “the Breakfast Club” from 1985 – so the Internationalist becomes more and more popular. 2014, the Internationalist celebrated his comeback, after 30 years of abstinence and is meanwhile one of the most hyped Nike shoes. Boys or Girls, leisure shoes or for the Casual Friday at work, the combination doesn’t matter: The Nike Internationalist always looks pretty good! On warm days we prefer the Suede/Mesh versions of the shoe, if it’s a little colder we appreciate the Leather/Suede versions. In the next couple of months, we expect a lot of different colorways of the Nike Internationalist. We are looking forward for new stuff of the Internationalist. Hopefully, you stay tuned as well!
