The Bedale model for men is a slightly shorter wax jacket with a generous fit. It is made from water-repellent, waxed cotton in durable 6oz Thornproof quality. First launched in 1980, the jacket can be complemented with a warm lining (Warm Pile Zip-In or Polarquilt Quilted Zip-In) and a matching hood (Wax Cotton). Distinctive details such as a two-way zipper with snap button placket, two large bellows pockets and two moleskin-lined slit pockets, as well as the corduroy collar, give the jacket an unmistakable look. Ribbed cuffs at the sleeve ends round off the jacket's design. Wax jackets are robust, durable garments that can be re-waxed as needed to maintain their water-repellent properties.
