The urban version of our iconic mountain jacket is still based on the absolute The North Face classic, which was developed for mountaineers in 1989. However, we've updated it with ultra-warm recycled down insulation and high-performance GORE-TEX for unparalleled waterproof and windproof protection. The embossed Mountain Jacket label celebrates its 40th anniversary. It has an adjustable hood and zippered vents. The spacious alpine pockets provide space for your essential exploration gear. It also has a zipper so you can add layers depending on the weather.
