Kermit the Frog gets his own collaboration with adidas Stan Smith. For over 50 years, the Stan Smith has been one of adidas' flagships and a true classic. The tennis-style sneaker became famous as the first leather tennis shoe. With adidas' new campaign and the goal to only use recycled polyester by 2024, adidas is breaking new ground. Made from recycled materials, the STAN SMITH "KERMIT" appears in the classic white and details in Kermit's frog green. In addition to his name as lettering, a well-known saying from Kermit can also be found on the shoe. "It's not easy being green" probably also alludes to adidas' campaign around sustainability and especially to the environmentally friendly purpose of the shoe.
