On was founded in 2010 by three Swiss friends, Olivier Bernhard, David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti. Born between Zurich and the Engadin mountains, consistent innovation has driven global growth to challenge the sportswear industry with performance, design and impact at the core. The result is a unique running feeling that feels very comfortable and light. You could also say that with On shoes on feet, it is like walking on clouds.
The first prototype was created using pieces of garden hose and soon after CloudTec was born.
